National University Honours 1st-year Admission Notice 2022-23. National University Honours 1st year admission notice for the academic year 2022-23 has been published. This year National University Honours Admission online application will start on 5th April (Wednesday) 2022 and National University 2022-23 Honours 1st-year class will start on 1st June 2023 as according to the notice of admission.

Educational Qualification for honours 1st year admission
2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 Students who passed SSC or equivalent examination will apply for National University Honours Admission Circular 2022 233,
- Students must obtain at least GPA of 2.50 (including 4th subject) in SSC/dakhil or equivalent examination and HSC/alim or equivalent examination separately,
- The combined GPA in SSC should be 3.00 and HSC 2.50 in science and business education.
- Students should be maximum 22 years of age.

From this year no examination (entrance test) will be conducted for admission to national universities’ last admission rolls. Admission merit will depend on the SSC and HSC equivalent Result 2023 of interested students. Based on SSC and HSC results students will get admission to National University for Honours 1st year admission under the National University of Bangladesh for the academic year/session 2022-23.
This year National University Honours admission process for 2022-2023 will start 4 months earlier. In previous years National University Honours admission process started in January and classes started in June. Due to this, students are facing a session jat.
National University Honours Admission Circular 2022-23
The 97th Academic Council of the National University was held on 25th February (Thursday) 2023. National University Vice-Chancellor Dr. Harun-ur-Rashid, National University Pro-Vice-Chancellor Dr. Aslam Bhuiyan, and Dr. Munaz Ahmed Noor, National University Treasurer Noman-ur-Rashid and Deans of various departments were present at this academic admission meeting. In the meeting, the decision regarding National University Admission Circular 2022-2023 was taken.
This academic council is formed by the teachers of various government universities, principals and deans of public and private colleges. The total number of members of this academic council is 40 people. However, 33 members were present in the 97th Academic Council of the National University. This meeting was conducted by the Vice-Chancellor of the National University. Harun-or-Rashid.

Number of Seats for Admission in NU Honours 1st-year admission 2022-23
There are 2,28,645 seats for NU Honors 1st-year admission and out of that 43004 seats in Dhaka Metropolitan Division, 50,595 seats in Dhaka Division (excluding Dhaka Mohannagar), 13,325 seats in Barisal Division, 29266 seats in Chittagong Division, 29266 seats in Khulna Division, There are 5005 seats. Division 39s675 seats and 55,085 seats for Rajshahi Division.

Interested candidates can log on to the website (www.admissions.nu.edu.bd or nu.edu.bd/admissions) under the Honours tab and click on Apply Now (Honours) option and view the information displayed on the website. Applicant must input his secondary and higher secondary roll number, grade/university, and passes correctly.
